Yoga has been experiential life long practice incorporating mind, body and spirit into every aspect of my every day life for the past 20 years. I have gone from a
beginner, novice student to a mature, experienced teacher while remaining in
learner mode and always open to its lessons. While my yoga practiced has
changed throughout the years, I have also changed with it. Yoga continues to be a
source of inspiration, challenge and growth in my life.
A great yoga class is a combination of being able to intuitively read my students
and knowing what they need and carefully curating a balanced sequence of asanas
as well as focusing on pranayama, yogic philosophy, humour and a deep, relaxing
restorative savasana.
It’s about bringing all these elements together in a fluid ,natural and cohesive way
that caters to my students and their essential needs with a clear understanding of
each posture and the proper adjustments- both verbally and manually.
But mainly its bringing a beautiful of Love into the room ….As at the end Love is the
ultimate answer .
“ I believe that every human being has an innate desire for happiness and does not want to suffer. I also believe that the very purpose of life is to experience this happiness. I believe that each of us has the same potential to develop inner peace and thereby achieve happiness and joy.
…. We share troublesome emotions as well as the positive ones that brings us inner strength and tranquility. I think that it is important for us to be aware of our potential and let this inspire our self-confidence. Sometime we look at the negative side of things and then feel hopeless. This , I think, is a wrong view .
I have no miracle to offer you. If someone has miraculous powers , then I should seek this person’s help. Frankly , I am skeptical of those who claim extraordinary powers.
However , through training our minds, with constant effort, we can change our mental perceptions and mental attitudes.
This can make a real difference in our lives. “
